TLACCC Statement on Biden’s Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandate

Trinidad, CO – Trinidad – Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce President, D. Lee Phelan SR. released the following statement:

On Thursday, President Joe Biden imposed the most unconstitutional set of mandates on the American people, which could essentially impact as many as 100 million Americans – close to two thirds of the American workforce.

President Biden, in an executive mandate much like Colorado Governor Polis’s mandate, bypassing Congress and directing the Department of Labor to require all businesses with 100 or more employees ensure their workers were either vaccinated or tested once a week.

The Trinidad – Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce (TLACCC) stands by its opinion that healthcare decisions are personal, private and between a patient and their respective healthcare provider.  There can never be a mandated single Healthcare solution for a population of more than 330 million Americans.

I look forward to this decision being properly challenged in the courts.
